The
June 26th 2010 KWS Final Meeting/dinner held at the Oxford Suites
was a good time for all.
The
Oxford Suites is a superb venue.
The
space was perfect for our group of 37 guests. They set up the room
to be very functional and it looked great as well. The service was
superb and the 4-course dinner was wonderful down to the smallest
detail. As an example, the bread was a wonderful seeded whole
grain bread accompanied by a herb butter - not the usual uninteresting
white loaf and wrapped pad of butter. The entire evening was
wonderful.
We
overwhelmingly recommend the Oxford Suites for an event.
See
below for the dinner menu and the list of wines.

The
Kitsap Wine Society was formed to appreciate and study the beauty of
wine. We are a group of individuals who gather from time to time to
learn about and enjoy wine and food. Our members range in experience
from people with wonderful cellars to people with no wine
knowledge, but who wish to learn more.
We
sponsor wine events and provide information and savings to our members. We also enjoy sharing wine in the good company of
others and welcome all levels of experience at our events.
Most of the people who attend the KWS functions live on the Kitsap
Peninsula, but we welcome guests who happen to be in our area when
our events are scheduled.
As
a member of the Enological Society of the Pacific Northwest, our members
are welcome at any participating chapter including Seattle and the
Olympic Peninsula. More
information, including registration details, can be found on this web
site.
Please
note you must be 21 years or older to attend KWS events
